Explain the product before the viewer ever turns the sound on.
Conversational Sales helps sales teams manage their time, personalize conversations and shorten the sales cycle by allowing prospects to self-serve while notifying sales representatives in real time when high-value prospects arrive on a company’s website.
Because the campaign would run as a social ad, the story needed to communicate quickly, visually and without relying on audio.
Project Intake
Creative work started with the business objective.
Before production began, I used a structured intake process to translate the stakeholder’s idea into an actionable creative brief. The process established the subject, deadline, project owner, distribution channels, call to action, campaign goal and the metrics that would define success.
Pre-Production
Building the campaign before the cameras rolled.
Working within a $6,500 production budget, our four-person video team developed the script and storyboard with marketing and product partners, named and developed the characters, coordinated talent through a local agency and aligned actor schedules with internal employees appearing on camera.
I helped audit our production equipment, identify gaps, bring in additional local crew for audio support, source brand-coordinated props, scout office locations for lighting, prepare motion-graphics projects, organize production folders and Trello workflows, and align the final video release with the Conversational Sales product launch.
Production
From office space to working set.
On production days, we transformed multiple office locations into controlled sets, coordinated lighting and props, welcomed talent and additional crew, ran dry rehearsals, filmed each scene and coached performances through retakes to make sure the story landed naturally.
Between setups, footage was offloaded and secured, sets were reset and cleaned, and talent and crew payments were verified—keeping both the creative and logistical sides of the shoot moving.
Post-Production
A collaborative finish built around product clarity.
The team worked from synchronized copies of the footage and audio while responsibilities were divided across edit assembly, motion graphics, color correction and audio sweetening. We repeatedly reviewed cuts together and refined pacing, shot selection and product communication.
After marketing and the CMO reviewed the campaign for message alignment, I completed the requested editorial revisions and helped deliver the final video for launch.

Creative that moved beyond views and into revenue.
The finished campaign was distributed across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Drift’s website. It generated approximately 12,000 views with 70% viewer retention. More than 200 customers told sales representatives they clicked through from the video, contributing more than $15,000 in revenue.
